Pure Carbon Asia Pure Carbon Asia (PCA) is a Singapore-based holding company which develops renewable energy and carbon emission projects in Southeast Asia. PCA has built its growth strategy around a well established and proven biogas technology (Natural Power). PCA provides its clients with a unique combination of world-class technologies, deep regulatory and operational expertise and financing solutions. The company consists of two main units: the biogas project development company: Natural Power International Holding Pte Ltd (NPI) and two carbon emission project developers: PURE Natural Power Co Ltd (PNP) and Pure Carbon Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PCM). Together, these entities originate, develop and manage renewable energy projects in selected countries in Southeast Asia. NPI is the leading biogas project developer in Southeast Asia. The management and founders of NPI have developed over 30 biogas projects in Thailand and are currently expanding into other Southeast Asian countries (e.g. Malaysia and Indonesia). NPI focuses on developing high quality biogas projects at agricultural processing plants such as palm oil mills, tapioca starch plants and pig farms. The team is currently developing on the largest biogas project to date in Southeast Asia: a 8.5 MW biogas project in Chumphon (Thailand). PCM, based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), together with its sister company PNP based in Chiang Mai (Thailand), develops selective carbon emission projects (i.e. under the Clean Development Mechanism) which have sound underlying economics and attractive sustainable returns. The two companies provides these services mainly to the project owners of the biogas projects that NPI develops within Southeast Asia.
